Manipur: It was discovered that trolling was what first caused the disturbing video that went viral on Wednesday, which showed two tribal women from the Kuki-Zo village being paraded naked by a mob.
The video was making the rounds just before the Indigenous Tribal Leaders' Forum (ITLF) announced a planned protest march on Thursday to draw attention to their predicament. One of the major suspects who was visible in the May 4 video of two tribal women being paraded naked and assaulted by a mob in a village in Senapati district was detained by the Manipur Police, according to officials. They said that numerous police teams were set up as soon as the incident's video aired.
